eBay Expands Pre-Filled Item Information

On Friday July 18th, eBay announced that it is expanding it's Pre-Filled Item Information to nearly 20 more categories.  Read eBay's official announcement here.

This is important for all merchants selling in these categories.  Why?  Because Best Match uses Item Specifics as an element of determining a product's place in search results.  And we can only presume that the more Item Pre-Fills that your listing has, the better it will perform in Best Match.  So, if you are a merchant selling in any of the categories mentioned in the announcement, you are affected.  Don't forget to contact your listing service (e.g. Kyozou, Channel Advisor, Auctiva, etc.) to make sure that they support these added features for these categories.

Have a great day!

Best wishes and good selling,
Jon
